IC-905 is the first multiband VHF/UHF/SHF transceiver covering 144/430/1200/2400/5600 MHz and 10 GHz (the latter band with optional CX-10G transverter) and multimode SSB, CW, RTTY, AM, FM including ATV (Amateur TV) in FM analog mode and D-STAR “Digital Smart Technologies for Amateur Radio” (DV/DD modes). The DD mode allows data transmission up to a speed of 128 kbps, with the possibility of also acting as a D-STAR access point and operating in terminal mode.
