The SkyWatcher Newton 150/750 f5 telescope features a solid 50.8mm diameter Crayford focuser with a 31.8mm gear and a 1:10 micrometer focusing, better than comparable telescopes of other brands. It therefore allows both to use wide-angle eyepieces of 50.8mm in diameter (to obtain low magnifications and large framed fields) and to connect rooms equipped with large sensors (such as digital SLR cameras): in this case we recommend using the AOCORR coma corrector for f / 5 telescopes that smoothes the field.
