La radio è dotata di un ampio display a colori transflettivo che rende facile vedere all'aperto, anche in pieno sole. Anche le dimensioni del display sono state aumentate a 2,3 pollici da 1,7 pollici che è stato adottato sull'ID-51E.
L'ID-52 supporta la comunicazione Bluetooth come standard. È possibile connettersi in modalità wireless ai dispositivi Android con il software Picture Utility ST-4001A / ST-4001I quando è installato il software di controllo remoto RS-MS1A. È disponibile anche l'auricolare Bluetooth VS-3 opzionale, per il funzionamento a mani libere.
Caratteristiche ID-52
- Ricezione simultanea in V / V, U / U, V / U e DV / DV.
- La ricezione della banda aerea è estesa da VHF a UHF (da 225 a 374,995 MHz).
- Può essere ricaricato tramite un connettore micro USB.
- L'uscita audio è stata aumentata da 400 mW a 750 mW.
- Le ultime funzioni D-STAR consentono di inviare, ricevere e visualizzare le foto salvate su una scheda microSD installata utilizzando solo l'ID-52.
- È possibile utilizzare accessori per l'ID-51E, inclusi pacchi batteria e microfoni.
- Oltre a quanto sopra, l'ID-52 ha una varietà di altre caratteristiche tra cui la funzione DR con facile configurazione, ricevitore GPS integrato, slot per scheda micro SD, costruzione impermeabile IPX7 (1 metro di profondità d'acqua per 30 minuti) e modalità Terminal / Access Point.
