CT990 is fitted with the Dead Man function, useful when you are on your own or isolated. This function constantly monitors the status of the person wearing the radio: if a change in position of the radio from vertical to horizontal (due to illness or injury) is recorded CT990 emits an alarm that is sent to all users tuned to its frequency.

The BC-202IP3L is a new multi-connectable rapid charger for Icom’s range of IP/LTE radios and selected Amateur radio products.
The BC-202IP3L charging pod can not only be used to charge one radio, it can also be connected to form a multi charger with a combination of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 pods. By simply sliding off the sides of each pod, you can slot them together in a daisy chain via pin connectors on each charger providing a strong, sturdy product.
The BC-202IP3L allows users to quickly charge the BP-271, BP-272 lithium-ion batteries and the forthcoming BP-307 large high capacity 7.2V / 3350mAh (typ.) li-Ion battery pack. 
The BC-202IP3L can be used with the IP100H, IP501H, IP503H, ID-31E (all versions), ID-51E (all versions), and the new Icom IC-705 QRP SDR transceiver.
