Utilizing precision harmonic motion gearing on both the RA and DEC axes, the HAE43 has an unmatched weight to load capacity ratio, in fact it holds 3.63 times its weight!

Ioptron is slowly abandoning the use of cast aluminum for its frames, the HAE43 is in fact made entirely of steel and black anodized CNC machined aluminum ... durable materials for a unique frame of its kind!
The HAE43 also has two important features: in the event of a power failure, an electronic clutch comes in handy which blocks the axis in RA and DEC even if very unbalanced, in this way there is no risk that the mount can move from alone and crash somewhere! Furthermore, the computer automatically keeps the previous alignment in memory, therefore, when the power returns, the mount knows exactly where it is pointed, starts tracking in AR and does not need to redo any alignment procedure!
Always present the iPolar polar scope, for easy and precise alignment to the pole via computer!
Mount accepts (optional) Literock 1.75" tripods (same as CEM40/GEM45) and new iOptron carbon tripod
If you add the optional 4.5kg counterweight bar, the HAE43 will hold a load of up to 25kg! In this case we recommend the LiteRock 1.75" tripod
The HAE43 mount can be controlled from a PC, either via ASCOM/Commander for a Windows PC or with third-party INDI drivers on MacOS systems: with a smartphone/tablet thanks to the Commander Lite application or via SkySafari and the like: or with a Raspberry Pi through INDI drivers
