The Leica APO-Televid 82 features apochromatically corrected optics combined with the new FL lenses and an 82 mm diameter objective increase the light yield by more than 6 % and the imaging performance is clearly visible when viewing the finest, natural details and structures in the highest possible resolution.

In combination with spotting scopes and the Leica eyepiece, the Extender 1.8x enables a previously unheard 90-fold magnification. With this unprecedented expansion of the zoom range, wildlife, nature and astronomical observations as well as digiscoping become an even greater pleasure. An integrated, automatic lock on the bayonet connector allows quick and easy attachment of the Extender 1.8x between the spotting scope and eyepiece. The rubber-armed functional elements and comfortable eyecup provide excellent grip and pleasant viewing conditions. Handling of the eyepiece remains precise even when wearing gloves. Only to be used with angled spotting scopes.

The APO-Televid Aspherical eyepiece boasts optical superiority and durability with its wide angle 60 degree field of view, fully multi-coated lens system, rapid interchange bayonet attachment method, rubberized function elements and twist out eye cup.
